The nearest airports are Alicante (about 100km south) and Valencia (about 100km north), both well served by European budget carriers. Car rental from either airport is the most practical option for reaching Jávea, as public transport connections are slow. The AP-7 motorway runs along the coast and the turn-off for Jávea is well signposted.
By bus, ALSA runs services from Alicante and Valencia via Dénia, but frequencies are limited and the journey from Alicante takes several hours. Dénia, 10km north, is the nearest town with better regional connections.
