Torre del Moro is a restored coastal watchtower on the northern side of Torrevieja, part of the chain of lookouts once used to warn the coast of raids and approaching ships. The tower itself is compact, but its position above Cabo Cervera gives it a bigger presence than its size suggests.
The stop works best as part of a coastal walk or a short detour from La Mata and the nearby coves. You come for the sea views, the breeze, and a small piece of defensive history rather than for a long visit.
