Bergmancenter is the small Fårö museum and cultural centre devoted to Ingmar Bergman, who spent many summers on the island. It is best for film lovers, with exhibitions on his work and his bond with Fårö's spare, windswept landscape.
The centre also anchors Bergman Week, held around late June or early July, when screenings, talks and performances bring a more international crowd to this quiet corner of Gotland.
