Raus Kyrka is one of Helsingborg's oldest surviving buildings, a medieval church whose first stone version was built in the mid-1100s. Its quiet setting near Raa gives it a different mood from the busier sights around the city centre and waterfront.
The interest here is in continuity: Romanesque fragments, later medieval changes, and centuries of parish life in a part of Skane that has shifted between Danish and Swedish worlds. It is a worthwhile detour if you like old churches and local history.
