Eating Out

Malmo's food scene is one of Sweden's best, driven by the city's diversity and its proximity to Denmark's culinary culture. Lilla Torg is the obvious starting point, with its ring of restaurants spilling onto outdoor terraces in summer, but the real finds are scattered across the neighbourhoods. Mollevangen is the go-to area for cheap, excellent Middle Eastern and Asian food, while the streets around Davidshallstorg have filled up with inventive bistros and brunch spots. Swedish classics like herring and meatballs are easy to find, but the city's strength is range.
