Foteviken Museum

Foteviken Museum is an open-air Viking museum built around a reconstructed settlement south of Malmo. The site combines experimental archaeology, living-history work, and the landscape of the Battle of Fotevik, fought nearby in 1134.

It is most rewarding in season, when demonstrations and roleplay give the reconstructed village life. Families and history-minded travellers should treat it as a half-day outing from Malmo.
