Norrköpings Konstmuseum (Art Museum)

The Norrköping Art Museum holds one of the strongest collections of Swedish art outside Stockholm. The permanent collection focuses on Swedish painting from the 18th century to the present, with particular strength in early 20th-century modernism and the Swedish national romanticism movement. Works by Anders Zorn, Carl Larsson, and Bruno Liljefors are represented, alongside younger Swedish artists.

The museum occupies a purpose-built space in the Industrilandskapet and has been extended and renovated over the years. Temporary exhibitions bring major touring shows from Swedish and international museums. The museum café is a pleasant stop; the building has good natural light throughout. Entry is free on certain days; check the website for current arrangements.
