Leysin is small enough that you can walk most of its restaurants in an evening. Swiss alpine standards dominate — fondue, raclette, rösti, and tartes flambées. A few of the village hotels run open dining rooms with a more international menu, and a couple of takeaway places by the funicular cater to the ski-school crowd in winter.
