Shevchenko Park is one of Dnipro's main central green spaces, set on the bluffs above the river. Its paths, viewpoints, and links toward Monastyrskyi Island make it more useful to visitors than a generic city park.
The park is best folded into a walk along the river and central embankment. It gives a sense of Dnipro's geography: a city whose public spaces often face the broad river rather than a compact old town.
