Golova Chatskogo is a strangely shaped rock above the Teteriv River, visible from the reservoir viewpoint. It is not a long visit, but it gives a different angle on Zhytomyr's landscape beyond the city streets.
The rock works best as part of a short riverside loop, especially if you want a bit of fresh air after the museums and churches in the centre.
