Manchester Airport
Manchester has an international airport with flights to many airports on the continent and in the USA. The City's International Airport is less than 30 minutes from the city-centre and the city's second airport, Glasgow Prestwick, is within easy reach with its own purpose-built rail station. A taxi from Manchester Airport to the city centre takes around 25 minutes; the direct train to Piccadilly is quicker and runs every few minutes throughout the day.
