The Litlington White Horse is a chalk figure cut into the hillside above the Cuckmere valley. It is not ancient, but it belongs to the South Downs tradition of landscape marks that are more about local identity than archaeological mystery.
It makes a good add-on if you are extending a Cuckmere walk inland. From Seaford itself, the sea cliffs are the stronger draw, but the horse gives the valley another point of interest.
