Bars and Cafes

Bristol is a drinking town with strong local brewing traditions — Bath Ales, Bristol Beer Factory, Arbor, Wiper and True. Clifton Village has the pretty pubs; King Street and the harbourside have the busier ones; Stokes Croft and Gloucester Road are where the city's independent, slightly anarchic streak shows up in its bars and late-night joints.
