Towan Head coastal walk

The headland between Fistral and Towan is the best short walk in Newquay. A two-kilometre loop around Towan Head takes in the Huer's Hut, the open Atlantic views, and (on a clear day) the line of cliffs running north towards Padstow.

The path is well maintained and easy in either direction. Pack a wind layer — the headland is exposed even in summer — and combine the walk with breakfast on Fistral or a pint in the Lewinnick Lodge perched halfway round the cliffs.
