St Ives has several excellent restaurants — more than you would expect for a town this size. Porthminster Beach Cafe is consistently the best, with an ambitious menu of locally landed fish cooked with Mediterranean and Asian influences. The harbour area has plenty of fish and chip shops; the one at the end of the wharf is reliable.
