King Orry's Grave is a Neolithic chambered burial cairn on the edge of Laxey, at least 4,000 years old. The name attaches to the mythical founding king of Mann — Godred Crovan, a real Viking leader whose fame was inflated by centuries of folk memory — though the tomb predates any historical or legendary figure by millennia.
The site is accessible via Ballaragh Road, partially within the garden of a private cottage, with free access to the stones. The cairn is not spectacular by megalithic standards but it is evocative and almost entirely unvisited, which gives it an atmosphere the more famous sites lack. Worth a short detour if you are walking the valley.
