Belfast has two airports. Belfast International Airport (BFS), about 30 kilometres from the city centre, handles most international and UK flights; George Best Belfast City Airport (BHD) is much closer to the city centre and is used by Aer Lingus and some other carriers. Translink buses connect both airports to the city centre.
By ferry: Belfast has good ferry connections to Scotland (Cairnryan and Troon, operated by Stena Line and P&O) and to Liverpool (Stena Line). These are popular with travellers bringing cars or motorbikes; foot passengers are also welcome. The Cairnryan crossing takes about two hours.
From Dublin: The main bus routes from Dublin to Belfast (Enterprise bus, GoBus, and others) take about two hours and are very frequent. The Belfast Enterprise train links Belfast's Great Victoria Street station with Dublin Connolly, taking about two hours.
