Beaumaris is on the eastern side of Anglesey, reached by the A545 from Menai Bridge. The Britannia and Menai bridges carry the A55 and A5 across the strait from the mainland — Bangor and the A55 are fifteen minutes away by car.
There is no railway station in Beaumaris itself; the nearest stations are at Bangor and Llanfairpwll, both on the North Wales Coast Line from Chester and Crewe. Local bus 53/57/58 runs from Bangor bus station to the seafront in about 30 minutes. The drive from Liverpool or Manchester is around two and a half hours.
