By train. Llandudno is on a branch off the main North Wales Coast Line. Direct services run from Manchester Piccadilly (about 2 hours) and from Chester (1 hour). For London, you change at Chester or Crewe — the total journey from London Euston is about 3 hours 30 minutes. The branch terminates at Llandudno station, a 10-minute walk from the centre.
By car. The A55 expressway runs along the north Wales coast and takes you from Chester to the Llandudno turn-off in about 40 minutes. From Manchester or Liverpool allow about 90 minutes; from London via Birmingham and the M6, about 4–5 hours. The town has plenty of pay-and-display car parks within walking distance of the seafront.
By bus. TrawsCymru services connect Llandudno with Caernarfon, Bangor and the rest of the north Wales coast. Coach services from Manchester and London (National Express, Megabus) stop at Llandudno Junction station, with onward local buses to the town centre.
There is no airport at Llandudno. Manchester Airport is the nearest international hub, about 90 minutes by train via Crewe.
