Betws-y-Coed

Snowdonia mountain village where three rivers meet beneath Gwydyr Forest and trails climb toward Moel Siabod.

Betws-y-Coed sits where the Conwy, Llugwy and Lledr rivers meet at the edge of the Gwydyr Forest. It is a natural base for walking in Snowdonia — short trails lead to Conwy Falls and Swallow Falls, while longer routes climb through the forest to the summit of Moel Siabod.

The village itself is small but well set up for visitors, with outdoor shops, cafes and a handy railway station on the Conwy Valley line connecting to Llandudno Junction and the North Wales coast.
