The largest of the Bay Street duty-free emporiums, occupying a stretch of pink-and-white frontage opposite Parliament Square. Watches, jewellery, perfume, cigars, sunglasses, and the usual cruise-port luxuries at supposedly tax-free prices.
The savings are real on certain Swiss watches and high-end brands; less clear on perfume and lower-end jewellery. Compare with the John Bull stores at the airport and Atlantis before buying. The building itself is an interesting piece of 1920s Bahamian commercial architecture — go in for that even if you do not need a new Tag Heuer.
