The Guava Limb Cafe is San Ignacio's most ambitious restaurant, set in a former Maya healer's house on a side street off Burns Avenue. The kitchen sources locally — much of the produce from its own farm outside town — and the menu rotates seasonally between Belizean classics done well and Mediterranean-tinged plates.
Dinner is the showcase meal; the courtyard seating with strung lights is the best dining atmosphere in town. Reservations recommended in high season. The associated cocktail bar runs strong on local rums.
