The largest natural lake in the Canadian Rockies, ringed by glaciers and mountain peaks. Boat cruises run to Spirit Island, one of the most photographed spots in Canada. You can also rent canoes, go fishing for trout, or hike the shoreline trails. In winter, guided walks through frozen Maligne Canyon are popular. Located 48 km southeast of Jasper townsite.
