Mundy Park is Coquitlam's great everyday forest, a large urban park of second-growth woodland, small lakes, and well-used walking trails. It gives visitors a quick, local version of the Lower Mainland's forest landscape without needing to drive deep into the mountains.
The park is good for a half-day walk, a run, or a family outing. Como Lake and Minnekhada may be more scenic in different ways, but Mundy is the practical green heart of Coquitlam.
