The Royal BC Museum in Victoria is the island's major museum, strongest on natural history, colonial history, and First Nations cultural material. It has been reworking how it tells those stories, which is overdue and important.
Give it a couple of hours rather than treating it as a rainy-day afterthought. Its location beside the Inner Harbour makes it easy to combine with Victoria's waterfront.
