Getting There

The Bay of Fundy's New Brunswick shore is reached most conveniently by car. Saint John, the largest city in New Brunswick, sits on the bay and is accessible by Trans-Canada Highway from Moncton (170 kilometres) or from the Maine border crossing at St Stephen (90 kilometres). Hopewell Rocks and the Fundy National Park shore are about an hour east of Saint John.

Saint Andrews is about 90 kilometres southwest of Saint John via the Trans-Canada to St George and then south.

The closest airports with regular service are Moncton (YQM) and Saint John (YSJ), both served by Air Canada and WestJet from major Canadian cities. A rental car is essential — the shore has no significant public transport.
