Green Gardens drops from the barren Tablelands side of the park into a lush coastal world of sea stacks, meadows, and cliffs. The contrast is the pleasure: one hike, two very different Newfoundlands.
The trail has steep sections and can be muddy, so save energy for the return climb. It is one of the park's best walks when the weather is clear.
