Things to Do

Cobourg's appeal lives in two places: the long curve of Victorian King Street downtown — anchored by Victoria Hall — and the white-sand beach at the south end of town, with the harbour and marina between them. A morning circuit takes in the hall, the surrounding shops, and the old commercial buildings; an afternoon belongs to the beach. The Art Gallery of Northumberland (in Victoria Hall) and the small Sifton-Cook Heritage Centre fill the gaps for a wet day.
