The Kenora railway station is a 1899 Canadian Pacific Railway building of brick and stone, designed in the Romanesque Revival style typical of the CPR's stations across the prairies. It is a federally designated heritage station and one of the most prominent surviving 19th-century buildings in town. VIA Rail's Canadian still stops here on its Toronto-Vancouver run.
The exterior and platform are open to walk around any time. The station building's interior is open during the limited VIA service hours.
