Norman Park Beach

Sandy public swimming beach on the lake

Norman Park is Kenora's main town beach, a small sandy crescent at the north end of the harbour. The water is soft, swimmable in July and August, and shallow for a long way out — well suited to families. The park has a playground, picnic tables, and a small grass strip behind the sand.

Free, with on-street parking nearby. Walking distance from the centre. Late June through August is the swimming window; the water cools quickly after Labour Day.
