St Alban's Cathedral

Small Anglican cathedral, the seat of the Diocese of Keewatin

St Alban's is a small Gothic Revival stone cathedral built between 1900 and 1905, the seat of what was the Anglican Diocese of Keewatin (which covered much of northwestern Ontario and Manitoba). The interior has a notable hammer-beam roof and several memorial windows to early missionaries. The building was given cathedral status in 1903.

The cathedral is open to visitors most days outside services. A short walk uphill from the lake.
