A walkable strip of cafes, brunch spots and independent shops at the heart of the Old South neighbourhood, about ten minutes' drive south of downtown across the Thames. The streets around the main intersection at Wortley and Bruce are lined with Edwardian houses; the village itself has been voted Canada's best in repeated surveys. Come for a long Saturday brunch — Black Trumpet, Wortley Roadhouse, the Black Walnut bakery — then walk it off down the side streets.
