A small national museum on Dundas Street that inducts and exhibits Canadian medical pioneers — Banting and Best for insulin, Hans Selye for stress research, Wilder Penfield for neurosurgery, Tommy Douglas for medicare. The displays are interactive and surprisingly well done for such a niche subject. Free admission; thirty minutes is enough. The Banting House museum a few blocks north makes a logical follow-on.
