Tucanes has run tours on this coast since 1992: guided walks in the national park, ocean kayaking, rafting on the Savegre and Naranjo, horse riding, mangrove trips and the waterfalls inland, with transport and guides included rather than added.
The park guiding is the thing worth paying for here — the sloths are genuinely hard to spot without a telescope and somebody who knows which tree.
