Quepos is a billfish port — one of the best in the world — and the Marina Pez Vela is where everything leaves from. Offshore charters go for sailfish, marlin and tuna; inshore days are cheaper, shorter and better for roosterfish.
The same marina sends out the catamarans along the Manuel Antonio coast, and the town is where most people staying near the park actually eat and sleep.
