Anse de la Feuillère

A long sweep of white sand on the north-west coast, backed by sea-grape trees that provide natural shade. The water is shallow and calm — sheltered from ocean swell by the curve of the coast — and the colour shifts from pale turquoise at the shoreline to deep blue beyond the reef. Anse de la Feuillère rarely has many people on it even in high season. There are no vendors, no beach chairs for hire, no bar. Bring everything you need and stay as long as you want.

The snorkelling close to the rocky headlands at either end of the beach is worth the swim out — coral and fish just a few metres from shore.
