Cyvadier Beach

A small, scalloped cove protected by cliffs on either side, Cyvadier sits about ten minutes east of Jacmel and is the prettier of the town's local beaches. The water inside the cove is glassy and good for snorkelling, and the beach is small enough that it never feels crowded.

The Hotel Cyvadier Plage above the beach lets non-guests use a sunbed for a small fee and serves a reliable lunch on a terrace overlooking the bay. Good place to spend a half day if Raymond les Bains feels too busy.
