Guanaja's beaches are quieter than the famous strips on Roatán. Playa El Soldado and the Sandy Bay side are good places to look for clear water and a slower island rhythm, but conditions and access depend on weather and boat availability.
Ask locally before setting out. Some beaches are easiest with a boatman who can wait or return at a fixed time, and facilities are limited once you leave the main settlements.
