Mangrove Bight

Quiet north-shore village where boats, mangroves, and reef trips define the pace.

Mangrove Bight is a small settlement on Guanaja's north side, more useful for atmosphere than spectacle. The shoreline, docks, and surrounding mangroves show the everyday island economy behind the dive brochures.

It is a good base or stop if you want quiet and water access without the bustle of Bonacca. Ask locally about snorkelling, fishing, and boat trips; the best experiences are usually arranged through people rather than signs.
