Island Village Beach Bar

Island Village is a shopping and entertainment complex at the waterfront, built to serve cruise passengers, with a beach, several bars, and restaurants. The Beach Bar is the most relaxed part of it — open-air, right on the sand, with Red Stripe and rum punches at cruise-passenger prices. The beach itself is decent, with calm water and sun loungers for hire.

It's a convenient option if you want a drink by the sea without venturing far from the cruise pier or town centre. During the day it fills with cruise groups; in the late afternoon it settles into a more relaxed crowd. Live music happens on some evenings. The setting is pleasant enough, even if the commercial nature of the complex is always apparent.
