Eating Out

Oracabessa is not a food destination. The GoldenEye resort has its own restaurant, but it is expensive and primarily for guests. In town, the options are cookshops serving straightforward Jamaican food — which is as it should be. The fish is fresh from the bay, the jerk is made properly, and the prices are low. For anything more elaborate, Ocho Rios is 20 minutes west.
