There is no direct public transport from Kingston to Oracabessa. The most convenient approach is by car or taxi from Ocho Rios, about 16 km west along the north coast road — a journey of around 25 minutes. From Montego Bay the drive is roughly 90 minutes east along the A1.
Minibuses and route taxis run along the north coast road and will drop you at the Oracabessa junction, from where the town is a short walk or local taxi ride.
The nearest airports are Sangster International in Montego Bay (approximately 90 minutes west) and Ian Fleming International at Boscobel (approximately 10 minutes east of Oracabessa) — a small airport with limited scheduled services but useful if you are flying from Kingston or connecting.
