La Trinité is about 20 kilometres northeast of Fort-de-France, Martinique's capital. By car on the main N1 road, the journey takes around 30–40 minutes depending on traffic. There is a bus service connecting La Trinité to Fort-de-France, though services are infrequent; a rental car gives far more flexibility for exploring the Caravelle Peninsula and the Atlantic coast.
The nearest airport is Martinique Aimé Césaire International Airport, located about 12 kilometres south of Fort-de-France. Car rental is available at the airport. There is no bus connection directly from the airport to La Trinité.
