Cholula is about 20 minutes west of central Puebla by taxi, rideshare, bus, or colectivo, depending on traffic. From Puebla's CAPU bus station, local connections are frequent; from the historic centre, a taxi is simplest if you are short on time.
From Mexico City, long-distance buses to Puebla are frequent, and Cholula can be reached onward from there. Travellers with a car can combine Cholula with nearby Tonantzintla, Acatepec, or Puebla's southern suburbs.
