Querétaro has a rapidly growing restaurant scene driven by a large and affluent local population, a significant expat community, and good proximity to Mexico City. The historic centre has dozens of restaurants, from traditional Mexican to innovative contemporary cuisine. The neighbourhood around the Jardín Zenea and the streets south toward the Convento de la Santa Cruz offer the best concentration.
