Reynosa is not a tourist city, and it does not pretend to be. Most of what it offers is the texture of everyday border life — the busy Zona Centro, the cathedral plaza, the maquiladora landscape on the edge of town. A few hours here is enough to get a feel for how this part of Mexico works.
