Puerto Aventuras is on Highway 307 (the Cancún–Tulum coastal road), about 20 km south of Playa del Carmen and 100 km south of Cancún International Airport — roughly an hour's drive from the airport. By bus, take any colectivo or ADO coach from Playa del Carmen toward Tulum and ask to be dropped at the Puerto Aventuras entrance; the journey takes around 25 minutes. From Cancún airport, ADO coaches run direct to Playa del Carmen from the terminal; from there, change to a southbound colectivo. If you are arriving with luggage, a private transfer or rental car from the airport is more practical.
