Mi Pueblito

Recreated village complex below Ancon Hill, presenting Panamanian regional and Afro-Caribbean architecture.

Mi Pueblito is a small cultural complex near the foot of Ancon Hill, built to evoke different strands of Panamanian village architecture and identity. Its recreated houses and plazas are simplified, but they can be a useful introduction to regional, Indigenous, and Afro-Caribbean influences before travelling beyond the capital.

It is best seen as a short stop rather than a major museum. Pair it with Ancon Hill or the Canal Zone sights nearby, and check current opening conditions before making a special trip.
