Grace Bay is a 3-kilometre arc of white sand on the north coast of Providenciales — the standard against which Caribbean beaches tend to get measured. The sand is ground coral and stays cool underfoot even in full sun. The water is warm, clear, and calm in the enclosed bay; the reef offshore creates gentle conditions year-round.
The beach is lined with resorts from end to end, but access is technically public everywhere. The best stretches for swimming are in the middle section. Snorkelling from the beach directly is possible but limited; the Bight Reef just to the east is much better. Most visitors simply base themselves here and use it as a platform for day trips and water activities.
