Providenciales concentrates most of its activity along the north coast's Grace Bay strip, where the beach, the snorkelling reefs, and most of the restaurants are located. The west of the island holds the dramatic Chalk Sound and some quiet hiking and kayaking. Diving the outer wall is the island's finest activity for those who go that deep.
